Colorado law amendment 20 made it legal for patients suffering from debilitating medical conditions to obtain medical marijuana for treatment. The definition of debilitating varies under the law, but in Colorado, it is defined as any condition that impedes the normal function of life. This ranges from life threatening conditions, such as Cancer, or AIDS, to neurological conditions, like seizures or epilepsy. Colorado even agrees that medical marijuana can assist treatment with anorexia and arthritis.

Getting medical marijuana in Colorado isn’t all that different from any other legitimate medical visit. If you or someone you know are suffering from a condition that effects the normal function of your lives, medical marijuana may be able to help. Investigating what is and isn’t covered under Colorado law is a simple Google search away. Legitimate, licensed medical marijuana physicians are ready and willing to guide you through the process of deciding if cannabis could alleviate some – or even all – the symptoms you’re suffering from.

Signs in Colorado point to an acceptance of medical marijuana that extends to the fiscal as well as the physical. If government takes notice of the success in Colorado, that success may soon spread to other states in the upcoming election cycle.
