i was thinking of putting a hps light in a small closet to grow vegtables during the winter months. would a 400w bulb generate too much heat for a closet? how about a 250w bulb? any advice would be appreciated.

these can be hard to set up. I reccomend having someone help you. and make sure you dont put it on upside down. that is what I did. but well worth the money

yeah i just picked mine up and for the price id say its the best one out there. but can ne 1 tell how it would handle a 1000 watt hps. i feel like it would be too hot. what do i need to make the temp rite??????

Where ever you want it. It holds more weight without bending but you can attach a light to any of them. In the small tent I put them where I want the lights and usually use 2 90w lights with them.

@kalisto1 You think $150 for a 4foot X 4 foot X 7 foot is for rich people? For an all in one mylar room that is completely light proof, can keep your veg and flowering seperate, I’d love to see how much time and money you would spend on a roll of Mylar $50+ building a self-contained room (8+ hours) and then route duct work etc and electric to the room. For $150 I don’t think it is for rich people at all, Just my opinion. Don’t know what your growshop charges but $150 I would think you agree.
