    Can I use a clear chest and then paint it black till opaque? or better; paint it black and then a layer of white over it to keep it cool in direct sunlight. Thanks, these are great videos

    @TardsOfParadise
    You’ll have to check with your local hydroponic retailer. We don’t offer other parts and supplies for sale.

    Hey great video! I am looking forward to making this. I have one question.

    Where can I buy the trays? (if its online it would be great if i could buy the trays, 4″x4″ blocks and the slabs all in one place!) Thx man!

  • SureToGrowers:

    If you’re doing a drip system, I would only make one slice, towards the drain end. If you’re doing flood and drain with the slabs, slash the bottom everywhere to allow fre-flooding and free-draining. You can definitely wrap the blocks around the triangles of the x-cut if you like. if you cut your X’s properly, it wont matter whether you do or you don’t.

    Huha!! Hey Matt and Jeramy!

    Thanx for the new dummy proof vids! Cant wait to do all those awesome things and grow my own!
    I have a question about the slabs… do you need to make a cut under the slab so it drains into the tray and into the reservoir?

    What about…..

    What about putting the block (without rapping) on the X cut on the Slab and then rap the Block with the triangles so its sealed tight. would that work? thanx again guyz! peace!;O)

  • TheTorah:

    awesome stuff guys. Looking forward to seeing the other systems you have in store for us!

    I love the look of STG. but it seems so expensive compated to the other mediumsalthough I do understand the benefits. Any distributars in the Augusta. S Caralina area.
