In This video I show the various CFL Grow Lights that I have used the past few years and compare. They are all from local stores such as Menards and Home Depot. I mention the prices and light output for each. I also show hydroponic tomatoes that are a little over 2 weeks old. The largest bulb I show is the maximum length that the fixture can hnadle that I built in a previous video. My work in progress: www.tomorrowsgarden.net Buy your veggie seeds now guys. It’s cheap insurance. The stuff on the store shelves may not always be there.

where did you get the maxlite the one that’s 85 watts
Try growing Cannabis. It is much more rewarding than herbs and disgusting tomatoes.
@skeptimist71 oh yes you can u just cant add kevlins…lumens is the amount of light…thats like saying you have 3 peices of pizza and get 3 more but u still have 3 peices…dum ass
you definatly can add lumens its the amount of light…you cant add kevlins
Sorry to inform you but 1600 lumens plus 1600 lumens is definatly 3200 lumens…lol lumens are the amount of light…you can add more light twice as much light is twice as much light ….you cannot ad 3250k and 3250k and have 6500k kevlins are the temperature or spectrum of light you can not add together color but yes u can add lumens u dum ass
when u buy light bulbs u need the adapter part… so do they come with the bulb.. how do u get them?
@hatchetdestroyer510…Sorry to inform you but your lumens math is incorrect. 1600 lumens + 1600 lumens is NOT 3200 lumens. You could have 275 cfl’s putting out 1600 lumens each and you still only have 1600 lumens.
@HatchetDesTroyer510 It’d work great for doing herbs like basil. That’s all the Aerogarden uses pretty much. Aerogarden uses 2 26Watters for 6 or so very small plants.
tryn out a lumacoil cfl 23w 1600 lumens 2 in total 3200 lumens altogether how far could this take me before needing higher lights also im assuming cfl is compact fluorescent lamp. hope i got the right type this time also is it posable to use these from start to finish
@grimie44 yes but i perfer atleast 6000 lummens per plant
@SleestaksRule do 2700 lumen work for flowering
@SleestaksRule do 2700 lumen work for flowering
do 2700 lumens work for flowering
can 2700 lumen flower plants
do 2700 Lumens work for flowering.
do 27oo Lumens work for blooming
its thosands of hours not years dum ass and rather than buying so meany cfl,s you should just save up for a hps
not years…it’s in hours dude.
Your right about the price of tomatoes, $3.99 for a 4 pack of ity-bity tomatoes in my area. I tried hyrdoponic tomatoes, at first I couldnt get the P.H. low enough. Tap water is realy high in PH. I ended up using distilled water and add the nutrients I needed and they started doing well but, our Mastiff took a liking to the plants and that was that. I just didnt have the time to monitor hydroponic garden even though I like the Idea. If I try indoor tomatoes again I think ill just use soil
@SleestaksRule cool thanks your vid is very imformational
@e32pl Yes, all work in a standard socket.
can all of those be used in a standard light socket? please get back to me
