Can I grow plants in a dark room with lightsticks?

I want to grow plants in a dark locker as an experiment. I cannot use electric outlets or batteries. I would like to use lightsticks or glowsticks (Chemiluminescence). Could it work? How would I go about doing it?

It will not work. They won’t give sufficient light for a long enough time to keep the plant alive.

Sounds like a really interesting experiment. You could also place a picture of a sun-rise in the locker to see if the plant faces the picture!

Get a plant that does not require Sun light.
